Software License Management
Welcome to the College of Engineering Software Site License Management System.
The College manages a number of campus-wide site licenses as a service to campus users. These licenses are available only to campus departments with a valid DaFIS FAU to expense transfer the cost of the license. License cost is caluculated based on the total acquisition cost of the software divided by the number of licenses purchased. More information on available options and additions to particular licenses can be found by following the site navigation on the left. Be advised, only License Managers are capable of initiating a request for a license purchase. You may request to become a License Manager, subject to approval by the site administrators. Please check with your department administration before requesting License Manager status. You are encouraged to use the department License Manager if one has already been set up.
In response to your requests, software license records now have an additional non-required field for designating an alternate contact. This is ideal for assigning additional tech support to a license in order to help with downloads and installations on your client systems. You can access the Alternate Contact field by simply editing your existing licenses, or during the License Request process.
